Every Android smartphone will have a built-in camera application. These apps will be developed by respective smartphone manufacturers. The way in which these apps capture images differ depending on the kind of image processing done by the app. When it comes to image processing, Google Camera is on top of all with the best quality, detail, and size. That’s why everyone wants to install GCam on their smartphone. Below, you will find the full list of devices for which GCam is available and how to install it. It is not as simple as installing the Google Camera apk file, but the procedure is a little different here.

Google Camera Port Hub

A Google Camera port made for a smartphone will not work on the other and vice versa. Developers work hard to bring all the features to non-pixel smartphones out there. For the same, there are hundreds of ports available already. There will be multiple ports for the same device as well. Below I will be sharing a list of Android smartphone manufacturers and respective Google Cam port. If one doesn’t get it right for you then you might want to go ahead and try multiple ports before you get a stable Google Camera app installed on your phone.

Why Google Camera?

Google Camera is always special and the way in which it does image processing is amazing. If you capture two same images, one with a stock camera and the other one with Google Camera, the photo quality and details will be on the higher side on the image captured from Google Camera. Do note that we are using the exact same camera sensor. The software does the magic here.

Samsung

When it comes to Samsung, it is having the same smartphone with two different processors – Snapdragon and Exynos. Select according to your Samsung smartphone’s processor.

Xiaomi

You can find GCam ports for Xiaomi and Poco devices below. It will also include the config.xml file (if any).

Huge thanks to developrs at XDA and Celsoazevedo for making this possible. We have either collected the link to the thread or direct download link and categorized them above. If there is something more you should do then we will share links to the thread so that you can participate in the discussion to fix any problem. There are tons of third-party camera apps for Android like the Adobe Photoshop Camera, but none of them could match the quality delivered by Google Camera. I will update the article whenever a new update is available and newer smartphones models with respective Google Camera will be shared here.
